I started writing a few years ago. My blog began with touchy subjects mixed with humor to gain attention. Some said my writing was inappropriate. Another word for that is gassy, hence the name Gastradamus. My slogan became Gastradamus is my name and gassy topics are my game.
The material I put out at first was meant to be entertaining and bring traffic to my website, but I received my fair share of complaints about how offensive it was. I also didn’t take too kindly to negative feedback when I knew a critic was incorrect. I would let them know about it.
The journey hasn’t been perfect, I’m far from it and have grown as a writer. I’ve got to the point where I’ve stopped posting risky topics for more viewers, instead I aim for high quality, well written short stories with poor grammar and limited vocabulary. I don’t repeat words in my writing to be repetitive, I repeat them because I’m too fat to open a thesaurus.
Really though it’s the lack word knowledge. Leg Iron Books was kind enough to offer much needed editing work, through the most excellent Roo B. Doo.
My friends helped me get the site off the ground, thank you all so much. My followers have been incredible, you will be mentioned in my upcoming book. I’d like to thank my family for everything they do for me. Leg Iron Books will be releasing my first novel hopefully by the end of the year, thank you so much.
Gastradamus appears in Well Haunted.
