Ian is a nondescript, near pensioner, who lives with his wife in Bangor, Co. Down. In his past he has had more jobs than anyone could reasonably shake a stick at, from motorcycle couriering during the Northern Irish troubles, an apprenticeship as a trainee auctioneer, melon farming in the Negev desert, and a year or so spent making leather goods. He has also written for motorcycle magazines based both in the UK and the US. Following a period when he eventually wised up and knuckled down, Ian now works in IT.

Ian’s debut at Leg Iron Books is a story in UA24: ‘Monster’.
